Georgetown Day

Nothing I could say here could do justice to what we said yesterday.

Picture 60 degrees, sunny, the front lawn covered with people. Popcorn and Bibmbap (which is something Korean that I don't really "get" even though I got it and it was delish) and cotton candy, music on the main stage, inflatable stuff, etcetra.

NB: All potentially offensive terms have been replaced with "skittles" to protect the innocent(ish).

about study abroad: "Yeah, Bolivia! I'm gonna be like, riding llamas and shit."

about gossip: "His last name is Weinerfinch? I want to meet him!"

about the scenery behind a townhouse: "That's a great pee alley."

about the sky, while waving at it: "HIIIIIII, God!"

about pop culture: "Like Bear Grylls, I'm gonna be 'oh, I'm feeling skittles, better drink my own skittles.'"

about academics: "Oh, you're a French major? Me too...CREPE!...is a French word."

about fashion: "I love your flannel. Those pocketsssssssss....just look at them."

about each other: "We got to Lau 2 and he just ran around in circles. You should go get him. I don't know where he went."

And now, the best text message I will ever have the privilege of sending, with all the potentially offensive terms censored.

Found him. He's with a bunch of people watching a YouTube vid of Wiz Khalifa rolling a skittles.

Happy Georgetown Day, Everyone!
