St. Patrick's Day!

My St. Patrick's Day involved one of these...

yes, really.  sorry for partying?
My neighbors wanting to build one of these...
it doesn't seem too complicated, so guys, I'm in if you are!
And other brilliant ideas fueled mainly by this...

More of these than I had ever seen before...
Can we all just talk for a second about how the campus police now wear black vests over street clothes?  One of them was wearing it over a hoodie and had a baseball cap on backwards, and he looked about fourteen years old.  They all roamed the streets for hours watching which houses people were walking into.  As one of my friends told me - "It's kind of a police state right now."  The next time we get a campus email about someone being robbed or assaulted - maybe we should ask DPS why they were stopping parties but not stopping crime.

And some of this...

And plenty of this...
I thought, "oooh, Irish chocolate milk!" and poured myself a glass at a friend's party.  NOT LIKE CHOCOLATE MILK AT ALL.  I guess both this and chocolate milk make me REALLY happy...but only this stuff makes me want to hug everyone and dance like a crazy person.
A full roll of this...
A ton of people dancing in a room full of these...
And people telling stories about this...
You have no idea what a relief it is to know that I was not the only person who was painfully awkward in middle school.  Those were three not-good years of Ange.
Now, I'm in my apartment trying to make fudge.  Because I had an extra can of sweetened condensed milk laying around, and also because why not?  The last time I attempted this, I used my grandma's recipe for "Never-Fail Fudge."  Let me tell ya - the fudge failed. It failed hard.  So here's hoping I don't end up with an expanding fluffy choco-blob like I did last time.

If it turns out looking better than this...I will have succeeded.

But now I have to think of something cheesy to finish this post with...umm...So, for someone who is only 1/16 Irish (I think? Maybe 1/8?) I had a St. Patty's Day that was a 10 out of 10.
