WTFriday: Polyvore Edition

This isn't so much of a WTF-why-is-the-world-the-way-it-is-sometimes post as it is a WTF-how-did-I-just-learn-about-this post.

So let's talk Polyvore.  It's this online doohickey that lets you pick out clothes from ANYWHERE and make them into a collage.  You can add text or pictures or puppies, even fake coffee mug marks on your "paper."  It is awesome and drag-and-drop.  Have opposable thumbs?  Then you can use Polyvore!  Congratulations, hominid!

Polyvore provides you with an infinite closet to play in.  You can sort items by store, by color, or by category.  You could theoretically shop online if you have a million bajillion dollars and nothing better to spend it on than sequins...not that I would judge you if you did.  Not at all.  Come at me, Cher.

All of the images in this post are things I've made on Polyvore.  I have a feeling that this little procrastination tool, that lets me feel all artsy and cool and stuff when I really have zippo artistic talent at all, will soon become something I try to do in the real world.  I'll be sitting in class, thinking "Okay, I want to trade shoes with X.  Now trade Y's flannel shirt for a blouse.  Stick an anthropologie headband on Z."  So thank you, Polyvore, for providing me a constructive outlet for my snarkyness.
